May 27, 2016_LAST DAY

Yey! It's my last day. 

My first job that I did is I arrange the chairs since Sir Lamarca have a class. I also set-up the projector. After that, I go back to my table. When one of the student so Sir Lamarca was reporting she asked for a help. The problem is she didn't know how to zoom in the pdf she reporting. Then Sir Lamarca asked me what I did, then I told him the keyboard shortcut for it. 

After lunch, he told me to photocopied the final exam of his students. Then i gave it. Kinausap ako ni sir na tignan sila. They finished the exam at 4pm. After that, we take photo and Sir thank me for helping the office. That's what I do for my last day.

May 26, 2016_ Second to the Last

This is my second to the last day of my OJT. Since, all of them attend the DTI Seminar at Vigan Convention Center. I'm alone and bored. So, to entertain myself I open my laptop and wait for the people to give letters to the office.

After Lunch, they came back. I just wait for the work they are going to assign. But, unfortunately, they only assigned me to arranged the papers at the table. And after that, I help Ma'am Imelda to get the bond papers and place it to the cabine.

May 25, 2016_TRIP TICKET

Since there is a meeting. Wala ako masyadong gagawin ngayon. I just sat down for and waiting. 

Ma'am Imelda asked me to help her distributing the snacks, so i go upstairs and help her. After that, I go and take my lunch. 

After the lunch, I processed the trip ticket of the FSDP scholars. I go first at the Motor pool, i was stuck at the motor pool because their schedule are not arrange and they don't decide if what vehicle they need to put. I wait for an hour, and I go back to the office and tell to Ma'am Gretchen that sir Garcia is not there. So I gave the letter to her and he go to Tadena Hall. 

Around 4pm, I go to the Office of the President to follow-up the papers. Since it's done, I go to Property office to submit copy. After that, I go back to the motor pool and that's what I do for today.

May 24, 2016_HHHHAAAAAYYYYY

Arrived at exactly 8am.

My first thing to do is to distribute the memo regarding the Academic Council Meeting to b held at Tadena Hall tomorrow. I was assigned to distribute the memo from the different offices at Admin Building while Ma'am Lopez at the different colleges. While distributing Ma'am Imelda disturbed me for awhile, she asked me to go the Zonal Office to asked about the "load". and I continue distributing the memo. 

After lunch. Sir Lamarca called me at his desk and instructed me what I am going to do. He lend me the Thesis Book and asked me to check if the citations are in the bibliography. I check it one by one and takes me two and a half hour to do that. After that, I return the thesis to Sir and he joke that "Pwede ka nang  maging panel" pabiro niyang sabi. I just and smile and said "Soon Sir." 

We had a merienda time and wait for 5pm.

May 23, 2016_ ASSIST

Since, we have a visitors today from Northwestern State College of Science and Technology. We clean the office and arrange the chairs for their briefing. I help Ma'am Lopez to clean the table of Sir Lamarca. And to move those thesis book besides the xerox machine. 

After the briefing, Sir Lamarca instructed me to assist some of the visitors to the VPSEA. So, I assist them, and they are asking if I am a teacher. And I told them that I am a student and I having my On-the-Job Traning. Sabi kasi nila, ung pagsasalita ko daw, para akong professional. When we reach the VPSEA, I left them there and I go back immediately to the office. 

Because we are all busy, we had our lunch @12:30.

After the lunch, I by then asked Sir Lamarca to encode the Memorandum of Understanding between Northwestern State College and UNP. After encoding, Ma'am Imelda called me to help her prepare the snacks of the visitor. (Ako lang naman po yung taga bukas ng softdrinks nila). And after that, we take a rest and wait for 5pm.

May 20,2016_ MOU

Sir Lamarca has a class today. So we set up the chairs as well as the projector. Since, Sir Lamarca attend the graduation of College of Hotel and Restaurant Management their class suspended for 2 hours. Some of his students go out and some remain in the office. While I'm on my sit, one of the teacher come near me and give me some food. I thank her, and she smiled at me.

After the graduation, Sir start the class immediately without a break. Sir is very workaholic person, he doesn't want to waste his time. She asked me to set his laptop and open the PowerPoint presentation. So,I open it and go back at my sit. and wait for my lunch break.

After lunch, Ma'am Gretchen told me to encode the Memorandum of Understanding given by the TOPICA, and submit it to Sir Lamarca. And after that, I have nothing to do.

May 19, 2016_ No Current

There were no current the whole morning because ISECO did a clearing operation.But because we are at the Administration Building, we have current but only the outlet. Unfortunately, the generator shutdown, so i got bored. In order to not get bored, I used to read newspaper.

@ 12, the electricity went back to normal. After closing the windows and I open the air-con, I went to eat lunch.

I have no work for the whole afternoon. 

May 18, 2016_ Memo's

 

        Upon arriving, Ma'am Lopez gave me the half of the memorandums to distribute to the different colleges. My route is from College of technology go to the Department of Physical Education. As a daily routine, after distributing it, dederetso ako sa xerox machine to continue photocopied the remaining IPCR's and OPCR's.

         After the lunch, I continue searchins for the lost notebook of Sir Lamrca and help Ma'am Gretchen to arrange the chairs.

May 17, 2016_Lost Black Notebook

          When Sir Lamarca arrived he told me to help him find his notebook. I told him that I saw the notebook before he go to the Thailand. And he said that “Baka nasa bahay lang.” That notebook is so important to him because it is the notebook he uses when he conduct meetings.

           Nothing much to do after that.

          After lunch, I was asked to “parecieved” at the Record Office.

May 16, 2016_BUSY DAY

It's Monday again!

Upon arriving, they gave me a lot of work to do. My first job is to  record the letters and give it to the designated offices. As usual, I walk and walk and walk again from the administration building to hospital and vice versa. 

After recording, Ma'am Gretchen asked me to sort the files of Sir Lamarca at his table. Since, some of the files of Sir Lamarca are sensitive, I told Ma'am Gretchen that I can only arrange, I am not going to sort it because Sir don't want to lessen the files he has in his table. Then, I start arranging it. Since, there is a lot of interruption while I'm working it takes me 3 hours to finished it.

And so, I also check the papers the signed by Sir Lamarca. I always check the papers one by one because sometimes he leave some pages of the papers. Those papers are from the CHED and other Memorandums, I need to photocopied it, so that if anyone can need it the office has a copy.

After lunch, I continued working on Sir Lamarca's other files. 

Next job: I go to the motorpool and submit the trip ticket. And I help Ma'am Gretchen to staple the IPCR and OPCR of the faculty

I do the same work for today. I received a lot of letters. I photocopied those papers they used for the training.

And I help Ma'am Lopez to distribute the Memo's to the different colleges and departments.

May 12, 2016_UHHHHHHHH

        

       Arrived at the office @7:58.

       My first job is to arrange the papers at the table that to be signed by Dr, Lamarca. I always to this because  we need to sort the papers in order to identify faster what kind of papers are those. 

I got interrupted by Ma'am Gretchen, nagpaptulong siya na tapusin yong mga IPCR na iphotocopy at maibalik sa mga faculty. So i help Ma'am Gretchen, after that I go back on my work.

Then, Sir Lamarca gave me a flash drive and requested me to print out the files that he encoded. I printed the first page but it seems like it is not organized so, i edit it. After editing it and print it out, Dr. Lamarca asked me again to give his laptop and check for the outlet. While I'm working on my task Sir Ragasa called me, he was not able to open his desktop so I ask help from the UPISM. After that he asked me again, he cannot accessed internet. I check it, and troubleshoot it and he asked kung paano ko yon ginagawa. Then, I demonstrate it to him.

After lunch, all i can do is photocopied the IPCR. And  i need to have my overtime to finish it. Then we went home

May 11, 2016_ Election HangOver

One day after election, when I enter to the office. I heard Sir Ragasa and Sir Lamarca having a debate about the election. I was listening to their conversation and they notice me so they asked me, how was the election in Abra. I said "Madugo po ang labanan Sir." Then, I continue my task.

After lunch, what I am usually doing is record the disbursement vouchers and passed it to the accounting office. When I have no much task to do, I continue photocopied the IPCR of the faculty and sort it. And we will wait until 5 pm.

May 6, 2016_Much work for today

               I help Sir Ragasa to finish encoding his SALN. Since I'm not yet good enough in MS Excel, I told him that i am gonna do the same format in MS Word. And he said "yes". While I'm doing it Sir Ragasa gave me some merienda. After that, I print it out and gave to the Personnel Office. 

                After doing that, Ma'am Gretchen asked me to go at the Motor pool to give the Trip ticket. So, I go. After giving the letter I go back to office and then they gave me again another task. They asked me to photocopied the papers they need in the meeting this afternoon.

                After lunch, I help Ma'am Lopez arrange the chairs at Oandasan Hall. I told ma'am that I go first to the office, to continue my work. As time passed by, I received so many Disbursement Vouchers and letters. Before we go, I rush to photocopy the IPCR of CN. Then we go.

May 5, 2016_ LESS WORK

Arrived @ 7:52. 

I continue doing my work that assigned by Sir Lamarca. It's the only thing that I did from morning till lunch break.

After lunch, I help Ma'am Gretchen to type the IPCR that will distributed to the different faculties. And then, we left the office.

May 4, 2016

              I do the same works. I go again to the motor pool and receive the trip tickets of the FSD scholars. Nakakatuwa kasi I learned a lot of things lalo na sa pagproseso ng mga papers. Nakakapagod lang kasing maglakad ng malayo. But I am enjoying what I am doing.

                Since Sir is one of the panel, he asked me to continue what he is doing and finish it until 5pm. I do it, then Ma’am Imelda gave me halo- halo. I finish the task before 5pm and the defense finished at exactly 5:00 o’clock.

May 2, 2016 First day of work on MAY

        I arrived early and finally Sir Lamarca is back. Hindi pa ako nakakaupo, nakikipagbiruan na naman si Sir. Sir is very nice and cool. He is very approachable, especially students.

                While I’m recording the disbursement vouchers she asked me whom I’m going to vote for president. I smile and said “Sen. Miriam Defensor Sir”. Then he smiled and asking why? So, I simply answer his question by saying “She deserves it Sir, malapit kasi siya sa mga kabataan.” After that conversation with Sir. They have again a debate with Sir Rolly. (Natutuwa lang ako kasi para silag bata kung mag- usap).

                After lunch, he told me to print his IPCR because he has a meeting with the coordinators of the K to 12 program. After doing that, I arrange the documents in his table and sort it.

April 29,2016_ YES! It's Friday

       It’s Friday again! I do the same works. Receive and receive and receive. We don’t have much work because the documents are not yet signed. 

All we can do for the whole day is having fun and debates with the teachers. 

April 28, 2016

                 I am waiting for Sir Ragasa because he need to sign the papers and pass it at the Office of the President. While Sir signing it, Ma’am Imelda asked me to photocopied those trip ticket (travel order). After that, I gave to Ma’am Imelda the papers that I photocopied. I go to the Office of the President to give the papers signed by Sir Ragasa, then I go back to the office.

                I sat down for a while, again! Ma’am Imelda asked me to go to the Motor pool and give the trip ticket and wait for it. So, I walked from Admin Building to Motor pool vice versa without umbrella. And it’s so hot! I have nothing to do, this my job.

                In the afternoon, Ma’am Gretchen asking my help to finish the faculty load and submit it to the Planning Office. I label it by college so that they can easily determine. I do the faculty load in the whole afternoon. 

April 27, 2016_ Emergency Meeting

 I arrived at 7:30m am, as usual my teachers is not yet arrived. So, I wait them and sat down  beside the office. Then, after a few minutes Ma'am Gretchen arrived. Nagmamadali siya, kaya sumundo agad ako. 

She asked me to double my time in arranging the faculty load and photocopied it. So, nagmulti-tasking ako, para mapadali ko yong ginagawa ko. After that there is a memo coming from the president. Emegency Meeting! Ma'am Gretchen smiled at me, kaya pala kasi kailangan niya iyon para sa meeting. 

Lunch break.....

Since they have an emergency meeting, I am the one incharge in all the task. The meeting ends at 4pm. And we have a our merienda time and we wait until 5 pm.

April 26, 2016_ LESS WORK

This is a less work day. We don't much work to do. So, i'ts boring! Since, I'm not allowed  to connect on Wifi and to avoid being bored from that time, I open my laptop and watch Korean Dramas. Then, Sir Ragasa asked me to get some water, so I pause it for a while. And Sir Ragasa said don't  paused it, I'm watching (he laugh). And while giving his water, he told me to copy it into his USB be and I give him smile

. 

"Nakakagulat kasi at the age of 60, nanonood pala si Sir nang ganon."

After lunch, I help Ma'am Gretchen to email the documents needed for the nomination in sectoral engagement. After that she asked me to photocopied all the faculty load and arrange it. And, we wait until 5:00pm.

April 25, 2016 _OVERLOAD

Work overload! Sir Lamarca is absent until Friday as well as Ma'am Gretchen. Only me and Ma'am Lopez do the task. 

I record the papers that signed by Sir Lamarca and distribute it in the designated offices. Since this is my daily routine, hindi na ako nanibago. I enjoying doing a lot of things, and being tired. I do all around work for today, sign, receive, distribute, photocopy and arrange the papers. 

Lunch break.

After the lunch, Sir Ragasa gave me the documents he signed, since sir Lamarca is out. I double check it, and i told him that it's okay. So, I record and I give it to the Office of the President. Nakakapagod pabalik-balik but I'm enjoying. 

Tha't's what I do for the whole day. >_<

April 22, 2016

Since, Sir Lamarca has a class every Friday. I can't go around the office.

I am the one assisted him to manipulate his laptop. Kasi po naninibago daw siya. He then asked me to photocopy the quiz of his student. Since, I am very curious. I used to read it. It just the same from the what our professor given to us. But mas malawak parin yong kaalaman ng mga nakakatanda samin. 

After their morning session, Sir Lamarca asked me to come with them to have a lunch at CAS. I told him that i was not able to come because I'm shy. Nahihiya po ako. Ayaw niya sana pero sabi may kasabay naman po akong kakain mga classmate ko po. Ginusto din niya. 

He asked me again to arrange the documents he will be needed to travel in Bangkok, Thailand. So, I double check it. Kompleto po  naman sabi ko. Then he smiled. Nagtanong siya kung ano daw gusto kong pasalubong. Sabi ko naman, kahit ano Sir. Sabay tawa.

Before we leave. I said Happy Trip Sir.  Then, he said "Thank you." 

April 21, 2016- LATE

I arrived at the office late. >_<

I just sat down for a while and wait for the papers. This is my daily routine. Receive, record then pass to the Record office. I arrange the faculty load alphabetically and photocopied it.

Sir Lamarca asked me to distribute the memorandum that they will be having a emergency meeting with the Academic Deans, and  Department Heads. So,I go and double my time in walking. 

After that, he gain asked me to download the OR and assist him to download it. He is going to Thailand with his family on Monday. Then, he asked me also to open his email and see if he can booked already his flight. Nakakahiya pero it was his order. Tinignan ko, nakabooked na pala siya. So i downloaded again the documents. 

In the afternoon, they had their emergency meeting. So i waited until they finished it. 

April 20, 2016- Stress Day

I arrived exactly 8:00 o'clock in the morning and my work is waiting for me. :-)

After arriving, Ma'am Gretchen asked me to photocopy the memorandum given by Sir Lamarca and distribute it to the different academic units and departments. uuuuuhhhhmmmmm????? Wala akong dalang payong at sobrang init. Pupunta pa naman ako ng College of Medicine. But it's okay. this is my work.

Then after that, I go back to the office to report. There is two Indian girls asking me the schedule of enrollment for special class in BSCHM. I told them to go to Mr. Ragasa. So, Sir Ragasa asked me to get the schedule from the Testing Office.

Again! After that, Ma'am Gretchen asked me to record those letter that signed by Sir Lamarca and send it to Record Office. So, I went again, I'm so tired but again! this is my job. :-)

After lunch, I arrange the faculty load and that was I did for the whole afternoon. Then we leave at exactly 5:30 pm.


What a stressful day. Maghapon akong naglakad- lakad at pabalik-balik sa mga different colleges at sobrang init pa. Summer nga di ba??? As the title says so, this is somewhat stressful day because they give me a lot of works and I enjoy it.

April 19, 2016

Again! They not yet arrived. Maaga po ako. I was sitting on my table and checking those papers while waiting for my teachers. After 15 minutes, Sir Lamarca arrived. I greet him "Good Morning  Sir", he is smiling and  he said "Good Morning ! Apay nagsapa kan napintas nga balasang". Then he add "nagpintas ka" and I said "Mangbalbalatong ka manen Sir". Then we laugh. hahaha

What a nice morning when somebody energize and inspire you. I feel comfortable everyday because I have a very nice person around me. 

There is a teacher from Pangasinan State University (PSU), she is taking doctoral degree. She is asking permission  to have a research and gave questionnaire to all academic deans, department heads and campus security services. Sir Lamarca request me to assist Ma'am Elizabeth Episcope to distribute the questionnaire. So, naging Tourist Guide ako in that moment. Nilibot namin ang buong UNP and it takes 4 hours. Then we go back to the office, then Ma'am Gretchen asked me if i'm tired and I said "Hindi po masyado." And i was not able to inform that Sir Lamarca has a visitors, so embarassing nakakahiya.

One of the visitors of Dr. Lamarca called me, he is the Director of AMA Computer School. He asked me if i'm a teacher then I told him that i'm a student and having my On-the- Job Training. Nakakapressure kasi isa sa may pinakamataas na posisyon yong kinakausap ko, he is Indian and a programmer. 

In the afternoon, we finiish the task given by Sir Lamarca and we wait him until 5:30.

April 18, 2016_ It's Monday

I arrived at the office around 7:50 am. Since Sir Lamarca is busy on checking the papers, I continue working out with my assignment. Then Ma'am Gretchen arrived, she asked me to get the papers from the desk of Sir and list it on the record book. As a daily routine, I am going to passed it on the Record Office.

After that, Sir Lamarca requesting me to go to the Office of the President to give the certificate of the graduates in Master of Education. After that, he gave me snacks :) and having short interview about the election in Abra. He has so many questions and i was not be able to answer all.

And as usual, what i am always doing is to receive and receive so many letters. 

Ugh..works stacking each day…

Sir Ragasa asked me to get the number of Sir Agustin. Then he told me to call him. I was shocked and felt nervous. What i am going to say ??? >_< buti nalang hindi sinasagot ni Sir. Nakaligtas ako. Since Sir Ragasa is busy, and again he approach me for the third time to get some copy of the communication letter from CGAD and photocopy it. I'm tired but I am enjoying. hahaha

After some time, many paper works. I help Ma'am Gretchen to photocopy all the faculty schedule and arrange. Then there is someone knocking the door, I said "Please. Come in". He is looking  for Sir Lamarca, I asked him to come back after 15 mins. Then she told me to contact him when Sir is already at the office. (He gave her number but I didn't save it). I met guy who is very kind and humble. :)

After lunch break was over, I continued with the task that was given to me. I managed to wok on those and Ma’am Lopez said the she will be checking what I've written in the record book. Then after the work, teachers joke around for some time while waiting for 5:00.

April 15- TOO EARLY

Second day of my OJT. I arrived too early at 7:45 AM. >.< I went on the office to check if there are already people inside. Unfortunately, I am the first person to arrive. While waiting I continue working on the tabulation given by Sir Lamarca.

He then gave me some work. He will be having a class so he asked me to photocopy the materials he will be using during his discussion. Before they start their class, he asked me for a help because he didn't know how to operate his laptop and he is not yet familiar with windows 8. I teach him the shortcut how he extend the project so that if he will going to edit something it will not pop out in the projector. He was smiling and have some joke on me. Nakakatawa kasi yong joke ni Sir pero totoo. :-)

After I finished photocpoying, I headed to Motorpool to give the request  letter of Sir Lamarca. But the Director is not there so i decided to left it and they said yes. I return to the admin  and my work is not yet done, Ma'am Gretchen is busy so i am the one take charge in receiving different letters and give the faculty clearance to Sir Lamarca to be sign by him. 

Sir said that I will go and have a lunch. Lunch Break .................

In the afternoon, I set up the projector. His students is from Thailand, and I don't understand what they are talking about. So  I don't mind them (snob) and  they are laughing. (And I think I am the one who are they talking about) Assuming hahaha>_<. Then we have snacks and jamming session , where we talk about who are we going to vote for president. Nagdedebate lang naman si Sir Lamarca and Sir Ragasa. That's what I have for second day, a memorable debate from Sir Lamarca :-)

April 14- FIRST DAY

First day of OJT. I started around 10 am and supposed to be I can start it around 1 pm. I was assigned in the office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs. At first, I feel nervous because I am working with Dr. Ferdinand Lamarce- the VP of Academic Affairs. But lately, I feel comfortable because the first time he called me he was so nice and having a joke to me. Sir Lamarca has a sense of humor and very approachable.  

The first task I did is to help Ma'am Imelda to organize the 2016 Performance Enhance Indicator. I didn't know that Ma'am Imelda was her birthday on that day. After we organize it, I greet Ma'am and she gave a very warm hug. Sabi ni Ma'am sakin hindi daw ako pwedeng umabsent ng hapon kasi hindi daw makokompleto ang kaarawan niya, pabiro niyang sabi sakin.  I'm so happy on that day because even though it was my first day they already treat me as their family as well as their daughter. 

Lunch break.

Lunch break is over! Ma'am Gretchen assigned me to distribute the Memorandum to the selected academic units. Since, I have no umbrella, so I decided to run.(hahaha) My classmates saw me, then they are yelling and said "DAKILANG RUNNER" I smiled at them. After that, I photocopy the list of attendance who attended the seminar at Tadena Hall. Since, this is the office of the VPAA there are so many people needing the signature of Sir Lamarca. I was been assign to receive those letters/memo/and etc. Nakakapagod pero I learned a lot of things especially office works and how you approach people. 

3pm we started to clean and set the table for the celebration of Ma'am Imelda's birthday. There are so many visitors came. After the celebration, Ma'am Imelda told me that I may now go since it's 5:30 already. Then I go.
